almost here!!!

hey yo!!!

so guess what!? i move in on sunday!! I am so excited i can hardly stand it, i love being at home and spending time with my parents, working and seeing old friends, buuuutttt 6 weeks is just too long to be pretty much doing a whole lot of nothing. however, i was super happy that i got to go to my soroities bid day weekend, yay 13 new girls. were pretty much the best soroity ever :) well at least on our campus!!! im starting to get packed, i think i will pretty much pack completely on saturday, and go grocery shopping and what not. my boyfriend is spending the weekend with me so thats pretty exciting as well, even though he won't be far away we won't be seeing each other very much. Hopefully about two to three times this semester if were lucky!! i can't wait to move in and meet my roomies and start having some fun times, and my iternship is super exciting and can't wait to start it. jeez louise i am just very nervous which turns into crazy talk..lol anyhoo i better get going, im sure i'll have some interesting stuff to blog about in a few days!!!!!!!!

my birthday!!

wow! so today i turn 21 woot woot! i can't wait to go out and have a few drinks to celebrate! i wish my besties weren't in other countries..lol but i have no doubt they are celebrating for me :) so i got my roomates names and our apartment address a couple days ago and i've been talking to them and trying to figure out exactly what everyone is bringing. I am soooo excited i can't wait the anticipation is out of control!!! i hope we all get along and can make some amazing memories together, we already are planning on hopefully celebrating the first night we get there as roomies :) yeah chicago semester!

Hey!!!!!
so today is saturday the 10, and I recieved my guide book from the urban studies program today, im such a geek and i am so excited that i read it right away!! and if you can handle it i even found the possible addresses that i could be living at and flashed earth them. EEk! I am so excited to be able to participate in an off campus study program, wow I mean all the cool things I could and will be doing this semester just makes me smile with anticipation :) I also figured it out that I will be living approximatly 24 blocks from my sister who attends North Park University.

I am a bit sad though today, one of my best friends left for her study abraod program in Austrailia today!! Im sad that i will not be able to talk to her much, but at least their is e-mail and skype. My two other best friends are studying in Washington D. C. on a program much like the ACM Chicago, and the other in Spain. She is super blonde, hair I mean so Im sure she'll love all the attention..hahaha. But i will miss them dearly.

There are sooo many things to look forward tooo...I have my 21st birthday on January 20, and bid day that weekend for my soroity, then packing and Chicago! So many exciting challenges and fun to come and I cannot wait to write all about them:)

Christmas!!

Hey All!!

So I just got back from st. louis yesterday. My boyfriend and I flew to see his family and have a second Christmas with them! But of course, I was flying on a foggy day and ended up getting stuck in the Chicago O'Hare aiport...all night!! But the good news is it was my first sleeping in an airport expeirence soooo...check that off my list :) Anyways now that I am home it is time to look for a student loan, work and start packing the bags for chicago! I'm nervous excited becuase I know it will be great for me but it will be challenging being away from Ripon, and my boyfriend, sorotiy, everything thats familiar. But I coudln't be happier to give it a try :) Well I have lots to do and not a lot of time.
